On 11/25/08, Becky from Erie Wrote: "Went to Cook Forest Nov 21-23rd. I wanted to go for my birthday and my boyfriend took me there. We left over 2feet of snow in Erie to come down here. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing those trees with their majestic splendor of snow and ice! I'll never forget it. Been coming down here all 51years of my life and now John can understand how much I love this place! It was so quiet! We stayed in the rustic indian cabins, thanks to the DCNR for clearing the area of snow and ice! We had a blazing fire in the outdoor ring, melted everything around a 4 ft area-it was so great! Nice and cozy. Iam truely thankful to have such a great boyfriend who made this weekend so very special! Come and see the winter splendor of the forest!"
